Introduction / 簡介
Dr. Lin Ma is a senior lecturer (associated professor) focusing on Multi-scale imaging and characterization of rocks in geoenergy reservoirs and subsurface energy storage. She is the Academic lead/co-chair of Women@manchester staff network at the university, and leading on subsurface energy and storage at University of Manchester at Harwell.
Dr. Ma’s current research aims to build novel and advanced 3D/4D digital approaches and correlative experiments to fully understand the complicated pore networks and the reactions of subsurface energy with rocks under subsurface conditions cross multiple scales. Machine learning tools and image-based modeling are applied for enhanced understanding of these topics. Her research aims to achieve the goal of enabling economic growth and environment protection via applications of clean energy extraction and subsurface energy storage.
馬琳博士是一名專注於岩石在地能儲層和地下儲能中的多尺度成像和表徵的高級講師（副教授）。她擔任曼徹斯特大學Women@manchester 職員網絡的學術負責人/聯合主席，帶領大學的地下能源和儲備領域。
馬博士目前的研究旨在建立新穎、先進的3D/4D數位方法和相關實驗，以充分理解複雜的孔隙網絡，以及橫跨各個尺度的岩石在地下條件與能量的反應，並且使用機器學習和基於影像的建模被用來增進對這些主題的理解。她的研究也期望透過提取綠色能源和地下儲備能源，來實現促進經濟成長和環境保護的目標。
